where are corn puffs usually found at the grocery store?
This recipe calls for corn puffs, and this does not mean the cereal corn puffs. These are quite larger, and are found on the chip aisle of the grocery store.
This recipe won’t necessarily work with the cereal. If you ask a store attendant for help, they will be sure to know where to find them.
add some more chocolate to your snack:
I am a total chocolate fanatic. Sometimes, after the Churro Caramel Pops are all coated, and I add in a few extra marshmallows, I also like to add in a few chocolate chips, or pieces of Hershey’s chocolate bar.
This is totally optional, but it just makes the mixture a little sweeter. You could also add:
- Your favorite candy bar pieces
- Cookie pieces (I love the Vanilla Oreo’s with this caramel corn mixture)
- Teddy Grahams
- Marshmallows
- White chocolate chips
would dark brown sugar work for this recipe?
This recipe calls for regular brown sugar, however, this recipe would still work with dark brown sugar. Your pops may come out a little darker, and the taste may be slightly altered, but not enough that it would take away from the flavor.
It’s such a simple snack, and would taste amazing with either brown sugar.
