DIY Valentine Box Ideas with Free Printables!
Valentine’s Day is coming up, and if you’re looking for some fun, frugal gift ideas for a Valentine’s Party or to hand out to friends, teachers or co-workers, we have a cute free printable for a couple of ideas for Valentines boxes. Most of these are perfect for small gifts for teachers or to hand out to other kids. The one at the bottom can be scaled up to make a Valentines box to use to hold cards passed out in classrooms too.
I love these, as you can use them to plan ahead, or if you need a quick last minute idea, print them out from home and fill them with something nice you might have around the house. Although they are perfect for Valentines day, you can use them year around for a nice way to present a gift to someone. You can also fill them with candy, or if you are looking for a candy alternative for Valentines day, you can fill them with candles or coffee cards for teachers, or small toys and stickers for kids, etc too.
For the first two, just print this off, fold & adhere it together and fill with goodies! You can fill it with candies, stickers, and other treats for kids or maybe some fun coffee or hot cocoa packs, chocolates and bath & body goodies for adults. These are so fun & cute to give as gifts & simple to put together! My kind of gift to give!
Free Valentines Box Printable – You & Me:
Instructions:
The instructions are simple for this free printable.
You will want to use good, thick paper such as quality cardstock.
Print off the Free Valentine Box Printable on the full page of cardstock.
Cut along the solid lines to cut out the box.
Fold in on the dotted lines.
Lift it up and you will need to adhere it along the entire flap .
You can use your choice of adhesive – double sided tape, glue dots, adhesive tape runners or even a glue gun if you really want it to last.
Fill the box with your choice of goodies:
For kids – various Valentine’s candies & chocolates, stickers, erasers & pencils
For adults – chocolates & candies, coffee or hot cocoa packs, bath & body mini lotions or lip gloss, nail polish & more (just to be sure to adhere it well together if you’re putting a few heavier items inside it.

These Valentines Purses can be used the same way a valentines day box is used. It is also a free printable you can download, print out and cut to make your own at home. Plus the cute dog face on it will make the kids super excited to get one. Again, this one could be used for teacher gifts or a special gift for anyone you want to give it to, as well.
You could make a couple of these, to put on the desk for your child to collect valentines cards in too, if that is what you want to make a Valetines box for.
Valentines Day Mailbox Idea
You can make these ones small, to use for small toys or candy to hand out for kids classroom parties, or you could use the same idea and make it large enough to fit the Valentines day cards your child might received at a classroom party.
These ones where simple enough that my daughter did all the folding, then I helped her with the glue part. I love that you can use any kind of beautiful cardstock paper you want too.
