This is a great seat with plenty of legroom and pitch. On both sides of the seat below each armrest is a small space for an iPhone or small tablet or a book.

I was in seat 7A for a 5-1/2 hour flight. Overall I think its one of the best seats you can get in economy. I'm 6' and there was at least a foot between my knees and the bulkhead, so I had room to stretch my legs. The IFE screen is mounted to the bulkhead, but its a good distance from your face. Overall it was a very enjoyable seat, even being in economy plus.

22F has no recline

Foot well cut out is very comfortable

This aisle seat was definitely narrower than seats 7A and 7B no matter what the chart says. I just got off the flight, and it is easy to see. I think the same Is true for seat 7D.

Submitted by Jacoby H on 2017/09/01 for Seat 20C

These seats in this row do not recline.

again, no legroom whatsover. In addition, there were only 2 waitresses on this flight, and service took 3-hours before we received anything. One of the waitresses was on the wider size, and kept stomping through the aisle without watching out for passengers, so everbody kept getting body-checked by her.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2017/05/12 for Seat 29C

Hardly any legroom. My knees were in the seat in front of me.They need to market the seats in the back as "Economy MINUS".

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2017/01/26 for Seat 22C

Seats are a little bit on the narrow side, my shoulder was in the aisle a lot, but the legroom was really nice, I'm 6'2" and could stretch out no problem

For Such a short flight (EWR-BOS) it was a good option. Was looking forward to tvs to watch a quick show on the hop, coming to find out that their wasn't any! Our flight was delayed an hour on top of that which wasn't pleasant. No service on this flight just an option of water. This plane was in Star Alliance livery so if you ever fly on this plane be sure to know that there were no tvs! Overall okay experience as the seats were wide and comfortable as it now mostly only occurs with older planes and older interior

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/11/07 for Seat Economy Plus

I'm stuck flying this aircraft regularly. There are no good Economy Plus seats with windows on United 737-700 aircraft. The row 7 bulkhead seats have no under the seat storage. The rest are missing windows in window seats or have poorly aligned seats so your shoulder is on a rib of the plane or the ducting which limits shoulder room. The -800/900 versions aren't a lot better. If you aren't into reclining, then 12 is about as good as it gets.

The worst airline ever. I paid business class for a 6 hour flight and they dont have any entertainment! Not even the audio system. No plugs to charge the personal devices. Pelase do not take the flight between Bogota and Newark. Avianca is a much better option.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/10/24

Standard business class seat. On night flights, the person sitting in 1B might be bothered by the overhead light fixture in the forward galley.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/10/05 for Seat 10A

Don't pick the window seat expecting a window. This row has no window...

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/09/29 for Seat 32A

Horrible seat! The seat was constricted due the plane wall, made it impossible to even sit straight. This seat should be removed!!!!

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/04/25 for Seat 7C

Seat 7C is a bulkhead aisle seat. The bulkhead only extends as far as the center of the seat, then there is a divider curtain. The curtain covers your feet and is just inches from your face. There's constant movement of the curtain as people (passengers and flight attendants) pass through and do not close it behind them. On a longer flight this is highly irritating! If you have drinks on the your tray table, be careful as they will be at constant risk of being knocked over! Do not recommend this seat! Better to go for one of the bulkhead seats that are not in the aisle.

Probably the most uncomfortable flight, for space, that I have taken in 20 years. Frankly I think such total lack of seat pitch, around 31" , and width should be reserved for people under 5' 5". I chose this airline only because it was the only ticket available but never again. Shameful from United.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/03/15 for Seat 27a

This was the most uncomfortable flight that I or my wife had ever experienced. The cabin is so incredibly cramped, with no legroom, no overhead storage, no recline. Truly awful. Avoid!!!

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/03/15 for Seat 31A

United has taken traveling to a new low. Leg room on standard coach is literally unbearable. 30 inch pitch is unacceptable for any length flight!

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/02/28 for Seat 27D

None of the economy seats on the United 767-700 are worth purchasing, The flight was cramped enough to be impossible, was extremely uncomfortable, even small carry-ons were checked, and the crew was surly and rude. When this was pointed out, they said that no one was happy on the new 737-700.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2016/01/25 for Seat 21D

I fly emergency exit row aisle whenever i can. For this 700 series, the seat seems very narrow and there was very limited recline. Also due to the power box underneath 20D means you have maybe 10" in which to squeeze your feet. It is a terrible seat especially if there is an adult in the middle seat. THE WORST. The flight attendant, noticing how pathetically uncomfortable i must have looked, suggested i move to 11F since it was open. This is how i can confirm that both of my negative comments about 21D are appropriate.

These window seats, while slightly narrower, do have 4 inches of extra shoulder room, due to the curvature of the fuselage. They are also slightly offset to the rows ahead of them.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/12/24 for Seat 3F

This seat does not have limited recline. I have sat in numerous seats around this cabin and can safely say the recline is the same as everywhere else.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/11/10 for Seat 24D

There is no overhead storage bin (it contains aircraft equipment) above seat 24D. There is an electronics box under seat 23D which takes up space for the 24D passenger's feet and under seat storage. Seat 24D should be marked "Be Aware" at a minimum.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/03/06 for Seat 23A

Worse experience for a long time.No way was that 31 inches. It was so tight, it made me claustrophobic (which I never am). United has become the worse airline in the industry when it comes to economy travel.Southwest is soooo much better. We need to remember that permitting airlines to merge allows these companies to operate as monopolies, so they really do not care about serving the customer. If you still believe competition exists in the USA, you must be living in a pot-legal state.

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/02/19 for Seat 32E

Horrible seat. No leg room, no recline AT ALL. Pick any other seat.

United Airlines offers inexpensive First Class Upgrades depending on the length of your flight. $50 - $100 - $150 from Coach. You can log on to United.com and upgrade if seating is available, 48 hours in advance. This is a great choice for cross-country flights. However, not all United aircraft have First Class seating. Before you book your flight, ensure that your flight has First Class seats, then upgrade, It is totally worth the money. My seat, 3-F had no problems with reclining or noise. Also, if you upgrade, you'll be first on and first off your aircraft. This makes those connecting flights at huge airports a breeze.

Window seats in row 30 and 31 both have an armrest that is ~2" further away from the side of the plane compared to the seat in row 29 & the rest of the plane. It makes the window seat very narrow and uncomfortable

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015/01/15 for Seat 10A

No window, therefore a loss of 2-3" of shoulder room. This seat is unconfortable if 2 average sized men sit in A/B

Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2014/10/01 for Seat 12a

I was going on a trip to HKG and My stop was in ORD since this was a short flight so it wasn't to bad but I still felt pretty uncomfortable on long flights I wouldn't recommend this seat to anyone
